According to WSB-TV and the Georgia Department of Transportation, emergency crews arrived quickly to assess the scene and direct traffic. The vehicle involved was moved to the shoulder by 2:00 p.m., and all lanes were reopened. Drivers experienced brief but significant slowdowns during the lane closure as responders worked to clear the roadway.

There has been no official confirmation of injuries at this time, and authorities have not released further information about the cause of the crash.
