Atlanta, GA (May 13, 2025) – A crash on I-20 Eastbound just past Riverside Parkway (Exit 46) led to heavy delays during the Tuesday morning commute after blocking the right lane of traffic.
The incident was reported shortly after 7:00 a.m., and by 8:30 a.m., slow-moving traffic was reported stretching back to Lee Road, according to WSB-TV. Emergency crews worked to relocate the crash to the shoulder, which helped ease congestion, but backups continued for much of the morning.
At this time, officials have not confirmed the cause of the crash or whether any injuries were sustained.
