Atlanta, GA (May 8, 2025) – A serious crash disrupted the morning commute in Atlanta after an accident on I-75 Southbound just before the Porsche Avenue exit (Exit 239). The crash occurred shortly before 6:00 a.m. and blocked multiple right lanes during rush hour.
Traffic was significantly impacted as emergency crews arrived at the scene to assist those injured and begin cleanup efforts. According to WSB-TV and Georgia Department of Transportation footage, the roadway was not fully cleared until around 8:00 a.m., by which time major delays had already developed across the southbound lanes.
